Below, some news and notes for Tuesday...- A reminder, Cornell's Red-White Game, the annual open-to-the-public intersquad scrimmage is scheduled for October 22 at Newman Arena. The scrimmage tips off at approximately 4 pm following the home football game against Brown. The Red-White Game also coincides with the basketball program's Alumni Weekend where former players are invited to return back to Cornell. There is no expected online broadcast for the Red-White Game, but those plans could change.
- Check out the photo the Yahoo Dagger blog is using for a story on Boston College's efforts during 2003 to block UConn from joining the ACC.
- The Göttinger Tageblatt profiles Louis Dale (Cornell '10) (pictured above and below). Dale is in his second year of professional basketball with the Goettingen club of Germany's premier league, the BBK. Through the team's first pair of games, Dale is averaging 14.5 points and 3.0 assists per game. Goettingen is 1-1.
- Below, our Tweets of the Day from the world of Cornell Basketball on the twittersphere. Among the tweets, junior guard, Dominick Scelfo writes that he has been cleared to play the 2011-2012 season after sitting out last year with an MCL injury. Meanwhile, Brian Delaney of ESPN Radio tweets he expects to publish on his blog a preview of the Big Red.
