One of the top "athletes" in the Class of 2012 is wide receiver Davonte Neal from Chaparral HS (Scottsdale, AZ), and he's the ONLY top ranked high school football player in the country who has yet to commit to a college football program.
Well, word on the street is he's made his decision on where he's going to go to school in the fall. He's just not going to let the world know until February 21st.
I don't want to jinx our chances here -- but the IRISH are a real possibility. If Davonte chooses Notre Dame -- he'll be the closest athlete we've had to Rocket Ismail (watch the video below) since #25 left early for the NFL in 1991. The four finalists are: Notre Dame, Arizona, Arkansas and North Carolina. Stay tuned!
