Higgins, Burr and Walton Withdraw

Tim Higgins, Jim Burr and Earl Walton -- the three officials from yesterday's St. John's-Rutgers fiasco -- have voluntarily withdrawn from this year's Big East tournament.

"Our officials are a very dedicated and loyal group of professionals who care deeply about the Big East conference," commissioner John Marinatto said in a statement. "With three days of competition remaining, it is our hope that everyone will now focuse on our outstanding teams and the exciting games ahead."

Just one question: wasn't it really Higgins and Burr who blew the call? Should Walton be punished, too?
