News and Notes: Tuesday Edition

  • ESPN's Andy Katz profiles Harvard and quoted Keith Wright as saying, "The targets are on our back. Princeton was expected to win it last year and Cornell the year before. Now everyone will want to beat Harvard.'' Katz also noted, "Former Ivy League coaches Fran Dunphy, formerly of Penn and now at Temple, and Boston College's Steve Donahue, a three-time Ivy winner at Cornell, said they aren't surprised by Harvard's ascension."   • Penn coach, Jerom Allen told the Blue Ribbon Yearbook in its preview of Penn, "Although we lost all three [overtime] competitions [against Harvard, Princeton and Cornell], I feel like it just showed signs of being resilient and finding a way to give yourself an opportunity to win."
