Class of 2012 Recruiting News

There have been several recent commitments in the Ivy League for the class of 2012. For a complete list of committed Ivy League recruits, click here.

The Chicago Post Tribune reported on the commitment of Elijah Ray (Bowman HS) Bowman, IL, 6-6, F, to IUPUI. At one point in his recruitment process, he fielded varying levels of interest from Cornell, Princeton and Brown.

Spencer Krannitz (North Muskegon HS) Muskegon, MI, 6-4, G, told ChippewaCountry.com that he took a walk-on position at Central Michigan and that he had interest from Dartmouth, Harvard and Princeton.

Class of 2013 Recruiting News

ESPN reports that Hunter Myers (Douglas HS) Minden, NV, 6-6, F, is hearing from Harvard, Yale, Nevada, Gonzaga, and Utah.

Rivals.com notes that Karonn Davis (Friends Central School) Philadelphia, PA, 6-2, G, has an offer from Albany and is fielding interest from Penn, Yale and Quinnipiac.

Rashard Kelly (Bishop O'Connell HS) Arlington, VA, 6-6, F, reportedly lists Delaware, William and Mary, Niagara, Northeastern, Penn and UMass.

Kyle Nelson (St. Charles HS) St. Charles, IL, 6-8, F, has an offer from Army and is hearing from Brown, Lafayette and Western Michigan per ESPN.

Elliot Pitts (De La Salle HS) Concord, CA, 6-4, G is hearing from Cal, Arizona State, Santa Clara, San Francisco, Cal Poly, Michigan, UCLA, Harvard, Stanford, UCSB, VCU and Washington State according to Scout.com.

According to Recruit Scoop, Cornell recently visited an Albany Rocks AAU club gym session to scout several upstate New York guards, including, Jelanie Currie (Albany Academy) Albany, NY, 6-4, G, Darrien White (Albany Academy) Albany, NY, 5-7, G, Jordan Gleason (Watervliet HS) Watervliet, NY, 6-0, G, and Tyler McLeod (Watervliet HS) Watervliet, NY, 6-0, G. Also a member of the Rocks program, Javion Ogunyemi (Troy HS) Troy, NY, 6-6, F, lists his college suitors as Cornell, Princeton, Harvard, Iowa State, UConn, Florida, James Madison, Fordham, Albany, Siena and Temple.

Yilret Yiljep (Westtown School) Westtown, PA, 6-8, F, told the Recruit Scoop he is considering Cornell, Penn, lTemple, La Salle, Robert Morris, James Madison, Davidson, Bucknell, Rider, Siena, Quinnipiac, Lehigh, Rutgers and Villanova.

Recruit Scoop also indicates that Diamonte Zarba (Berkshire School) Berkshire, MA 6-4, G, lists ​Yale, Temple, St. John's, St. Joseph's, American, Quinnipiac, Siena, Providence, ECU, Virginia, Bucknell and Army.

Recruit Recon notes that Dallas Ennema (Sheldon HS) Sheldon, IA, 6-7, F, will visit North Dakota St. He has interest from Cornell, Iowa, Nebraska, and Creighton.

Rivals.com reports that Mark Rodgers (Junipero Serra HS) Long Beach, CA, 6-0, G, is drawing attention from Cornell, UCLA, Washington State, Hawaii, San Diego State, UNLV, St. Mary's, Miami FL and Duquesne. Rodgers took a visit to San Diego State last week.

Scout.com reports that Ramir Burton (Niagara Falls HS) Niagara, NY, 6-1, G, has interest from Cornell, Brown, Colgate and Lehigh.
